I haven't yet ordered from Ebay, but I've found that majority of the fakies are sold out of China, while authentic Ddungs are usually sold out of Korea. Bottom line; if there's a Ddung doll on ebay that is really cheap and being shipped from China, chances are it's a fake.

That doll in your photos look like the ones I saw being sold in a few Korean shops here on my island. There is also an outlet mall in my town where there is a kiosk that is advertising ddung dolls for about $25, but the ones being sold look like your example in the pictures. I'm glad I didn't purchase one! I'll go have another look at that kiosk on my way home today.

Oh, I think I saw those at an event at the Blaisdell couple of weeks ago! Those definitely looked fake. I tried looking in Chinatown for any authentic DDungs, but to no avail . If that kiosk has any, let me know! I might have make a trip to Kapolei ^_^.

Can anyone recommend a good ebay Ddung seller? I know the Korean sellers are going to be the more reliable ones in terms of getting a real one versus a fake but I would like some feedback from people who have experience with any of the Korean sellers if possible (how was packaging, did they arrive in a timely manner- that type of thing) .

I purchased my Sweet Room from Miss-Pinkheart and everything was fine. She's had 13 negatives but only one in the past six months.

I ordered one from this ebay seller (Giftaholic - I'd post a link to their shop, but I'm not allowed to post links). I'm still not totally sure which are fake and which aren't. Some look obviously fake - like their faces are painted slightly different and others are noteably taller/thinner.

I just want a mini one. I'm thinking I'll switch the head to an obitsu 11cm body. I think *some of* the fakes would be cute for this purpose too.

If someone wants to look up this ebay seller to see what they're selling, I'd be intereted to know if they think they are selling the real ones or fake ones. I know some of them, at least, are real. I have found a couple of the bigger ones I'd love to have...

The easiest way to check the authentic ddung is the hologram sticker on the box or the laminated ddung ID card with the serial number for the Limited edition dolls. If the doll doesn't have a box to check the sticker , you can check the back of the dolls head for ddung C seol mark but it is easy to copy.

Also you can check our website (www.ddungshop.com) to see the doll list and the history of ddung dolls.
There are full pictures of both limited edition from #1 to most recent #225 and the first manufactured doll to the latest "Pink cat ddung" and "mini couple set"

Check this auction, please! They are even copying the original logo, and the mini Ddung clear plastic boxes!

Wow, how disheartening to see that. I have a saved search for ddung on ebay and almost always every new doll in the email I get is a fake.

I also check once in a while for Ddung on ebay, and everytime I've to scroll many pages of fakes to find the original ones!

Some things I've noticed while comparing the clone with the real Ddung:

-Ddung's body is pear-shaped and her feet come together when she is standing up
-There is a little white dot on Ddung's nose (however, I have seen the white dot on a few fakes)
-The details on Ddung's face are softer, almost airbrushed looking. The clone's facial features look like decals.
-The finger tips of the clone point out when the doll's arms are up; Ddung's finger tips point up.
