Ddung inspiration?
The first time I saw Ddung as an illustration (not the actual doll), she reminded me the main character of a Japanese comic I've read some years ago. I find them very similar, so I wonder if Ddung's logo image took inspiration by this.
The manga is "Tenshi nanka janai" (I'm not an angel) and was first published in Japan in 1991. As I have found, Ddung was born in 2003.

They do look a bit similar. The designer told me, in an interview for the article I wrote for Doll Reader, that she is based on her daughter.

I believe he was inspired by his daughter to make the cute dolls and their adorable faces, but I'm sure that the logo icon is based on that manga, since it's too similar to be a coincidence.
